Tano North MP supports cocoa farmers with motorised spraying machines

07, GNA – Dr Gideon Boako, Member of Parliament for Tano North, has supported cocoa farmers in the constituency with motorised spraying machines to help ease the burden of farm maintenance and improve productivity.
According to the beneficiary farmers, the entire Tano North Municipality previously had only 39 motorised spraying machines available to serve cocoa farmers, which they said was inadequate to meet the needs of farmers across the area.
The intervention, which involved the presentation of 84 motorised spraying machines to organised cocoa farmer groups, forms part of Dr Boako’s efforts to support farmers and improve their livelihoods through practical interventions aimed at addressing challenges confronting cocoa production.
