We are not scared of TP Mazembe – Medeama Communications Director

Ideally, clubs expect a negotiable opposition at the preliminary stage but the Ghana Premier League champions who are ranked 54 in Africa will have to face a side ranked 20 in the latest CAF rankings.

So, however you look at it, you're still going to meet, and that's why it is a champion league- there are surprises.

Medeama SC were drawn against five- time winners of the CAF Champions League in the preliminary round with the first leg to take place at the TnA Stadium on the weekend of September 4-6, 2026.
