TUTAG gives government August 31 deadline on post-retirement salary arrears  

The Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG) has given the government until August 31 to pay salaries and allowances owed members on approved post-retirement contracts.

Adenutsi said TUTAG was demanding that GTEC, in collaboration with the Ministries of Education and Finance, the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department and technical university managements, immediately validate all affected staff.

Adenutsi also expressed concern about a directive concerning the political participation of technical university staff.
