TRAFFITECH-GH implementation moved to November One for increased awareness creation

29, GNA – The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service has postponed the implementation of TRAFFITECH-GH Programme, an automated traffic law enforcement to November 1, 2026.
The MTTD said the Programme would help check recalcitrant drivers or riders, reduce road crashes, improve compliance with road traffic laws and address general road indiscipline across Ghana.
It is designed to complement the work of the MTTD personnel and not to replace manual traffic enforcement by police officers.
