Tema Mayor accused of leading demolition of government project

The Mayor of Tema, Ebi Bright, has been accused of leading a taskforce that demolished a government project under construction by TDC Ghana Limited at Tema Site 3 on Wednesday, August 12.

The demolition followed a directive issued by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) on August 8, 2026, ordering TDC Ghana Limited to halt work and submit specified documentation.

In a letter responding to the Assembly’s directives, TDC Ghana Limited expressed concern over the demolition.
