Republic closes case against Adu-Boahene, two others

She said the bank account into which the three cheques were deposited was not an account belonging to the State agency and that the agency had no knowledge of the company or the account.

The Republic’s case was that Adu-Boahene used the assistance of his wife, the second accused, and their company, the third accused, to divert and spend the money.

Madam Mildred Donkor, the third prosecution witness, testified about how the funds were allegedly spent through the third accused company and other companies, family members and associates.
