Ralph Poku-Adusei donates GH¢100,000 to Bekwai Municipal Hospital for essential medical equipment

The Member of Parliament for Bekwai, Ralph Poku-Adusei, has presented GH¢100,000 as seed support to the Bekwai Municipal Hospital to kick-start the procurement of critical medical equipment needed to sustain its new status as a secondary-level health facility.
The management noted that the hospital’s elevation to secondary-level status had increased patient numbers and placed additional pressure on its infrastructure, equipment and personnel, making such support critical.
The presentation was made during a ceremony at the hospital premises on Monday, attended by the medical superintendent, hospital management, health professionals, constituency executives and the media.
