President Mahama carries out reorganisation of National Security Council Secretariat

The statement announced that Mr Adamu Saaka has been appointed Director of Logistics and Transport; whereas Madam Faustina Effah-Boadi, had been appointed Officer in Charge of the Human Security Department.

It said Major General William Ayamdo (retired), former Chief of Army Staff, has been appointed Deputy National Security Coordinator (Operations); while Mr Yaw Donkor, former National Security Coordinator, has been appointed Director of Intelligence and Research at the Office of the National Security Advisor.

It said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Peter Ndekugri (rtd) has been appointed Officer in Charge of the Special Investigations Unit; while Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Alhassan Osman has been reassigned to the Ghana Police Service for further deployment.
