Political appointments should prioritise competence, expertise – Dickson Adomako Kissi

He also argued that professionals should themselves be willing to enter politics, since government policies can have direct consequences on their professions and the people they serve.

Dr Adumako Kissi stressed that the issue should not be about party affiliation but about ensuring that people with the appropriate knowledge and competence are given the opportunity to serve.
