People of Ehi perform ancestral walk

The chiefs and people of Ehi on Friday performed an Ancestral Walk to honour their forebears whose sacrifices and contributions helped establish a peaceful and united community and to inspire the current and future generations to sustain the development of the town.
Madam Emma Alevi, the Organiser of the ancestral walk, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that she introduced the activity because the celebration had previously focused on the present without adequately recognising those who laid the foundation for the community.
The walk proceeded through the streets of Ehi, with prayers offered after the history of selected families and individuals who had contributed to the development of the town was recounted.
