New Economy targets productive investments to drive transformation

On the theme, “Investing in Ghana’s New Economy: Building a productive economy that creates value and competes globally”, the summit will connect investors with viable projects and opportunities across the 16 regions of the country.
Convened by the Ghana Investment Promotion Authority (GIPA), the summit will showcase investment opportunities in Ghana, including projects linked to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the government’s 24-Hour Economy programme.
He explained that as the country approached 70 years of independence, it was important for it to embrace a new investment drive focused on productive investments that built industries, added value to local resources to strengthen Ghanaian enterprises.
