‘Napo’ remains politically relevant as NPP Election 2028 running-mate – Leading member

Mr Adu warned that choosing another running-mate would politically be inexpedient for the party and narrowed its fortunes in winning political power in the next General Election.03, GNA – Mr Richard Kwadwo Adu, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region, has expressed concern about the delay of the party in choosing its Election 2028 running-mate.

He emphasised that the delays in choosing Napo as the party’s running-mate defeated the purpose of upon which the NPP conducted the early congress in 2025 which maintained Alhaji Dr Bawumia as the Election 2028 flagbearer of the NPP.
