Late Mankessim Queen Mother’s 40-day commemoration set for September 12

The family made the announcement on Wednesday, August 12, when they paid a to the Board and Management of GoldBod following the Queen Mother’s passing.

The family of the late Nana Ama Amissah III, Paramount Queen Mother of the Mankessim Traditional Area and a member of the Governing Board of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), has announced that her 40-day commemoration will be held on September 12, 2026.

The Board Chairman, Kojo Fynn, expressed the organisation’s heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the late Queen Mother, describing her as a kind, dedicated and remarkable woman whose service and contributions to GoldBod were deeply valued.
