Kpandai DCE supports brilliant BECE candidates with school supplies
Sixty-one high-performing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Kpandai District have received educational support packages from the District Chief Executive (DCE), Haruna Abdul-Karim, to ease their transition to senior high school and encourage academic excellence.
One of the beneficiaries, Doris Yagane, who obtained an aggregate of eight, said the support would significantly reduce the burden on her parents and motivate her to work harder in senior high school.
Notably, 53 of them were girls who scored between aggregate six and 11, a performance the DCE described as evidence of the girl child's growing academic potential in the district.
