KATH to mark 70th anniversary with health screenings, medical fair and Cardiac Centre commissioning

The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) is set to launch a series of activities to mark its 70th anniversary, with management promising programmes focused on health promotion, staff recognition, fundraising and the hospital’s future development.

Baidoo said the development would make KATH the first public health facility in Ghana to have a state-of-the-art specialist fertility centre.

The hospital has also completed refurbishment of its Main Dialysis Centre, which has been operationalised to expand access to specialist dialysis services.
