‘I lied I was going to the washroom’ - Paul Yandoh on how he sneaked out after election defeat

Paul Yandoh, former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Communications Officer, has recounted how he quietly left the party's regional election venue after realising that his bid for the Regional Secretary position was heading for defeat.

Although he lost the election, Paul Yandoh said he has accepted the outcome and is prepared to work with the newly elected regional executives to strengthen the party.

The former Ashanti Regional Communications Officer said he eventually devised an excuse to leave the venue, telling people he was heading to the washroom.
