High Court issues arrest warrant for Manhyia South MP over EOCO probe

Agyei Baffour Awuah The High Court on Wednesday issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr Agyei Baffour Awuah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South, in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
The Court’s latest orders provide EOCO with legal authority to arrest the MP and conduct searches and seizures in connection with the investigation.
The Office subsequently explained that the attempted arrest was connected to an investigation for which the MP had been invited twice in February 2026.
