Haruna Moro Azika poised to protect NDC’s 15 seats, capture two more in Western Region

09, GNA – Mr Haruna Moro Azika, Shama Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who is vying for the Western Regional Organiser slot of the party, says he will maintain the 15 parliamentary seats the NDC won in the 2024 elections and capture the remaining two seats held by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Azika, a dedicated member of the NDC since 2002, said this in a statement as he formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Western Regional Organiser of the National Democratic Congress.” Touching on the NDC’s record and mission dubbed “Operation 17/17”, the statement said in 2024 the NDC achieved a historic feat in the Western Region by winning 15 out of 17 parliamentary seats.
