GHANET launches online HIV self-test platform to boost testing amid diagnosis gaps

The Ghana HIV/AIDS Network (GHANET) has launched an online HIV self-testing platform to make HIV testing more accessible and support early diagnosis across Ghana.
The organisation said the self-testing platform forms part of efforts to strengthen the national HIV response and achieve “Zero New Infections, Zero Deaths, Zero Stigma” by 2030.
The system, which went live today, October 1, 2026, allows users to privately request HIV self-test kits online.
