Fred commended the Finance Minister’s focus on fiscal discipline, noting that the decision to prioritise prudence over excessive spending reflects an attempt to restore stability.

He added that while government’s commitment to spending within available resources is important, improving revenue generation and strengthening economic fundamentals must remain a priority.

According to him, the key question following the budget presentation is whether Ghana has truly recovered from the economic challenges it faced.
