French and Ghanaian Armies complete joint CBRN training course

The French Embassy in Ghana and the Ghana Army have successfully concluded a two-week Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) capability training course at Michael Camp in Tema.
Defence Attaché at the French Embassy in Ghana, Colonel Gregoire Madelin, noted that the Ghana Army plays a vital role in safeguarding citizens against a range of security challenges, including threats linked to illegal mining, maritime insecurity, piracy and illegal fishing.
Twenty personnel from the Ghana Army, drawn from diverse units and specialisations, took part in the intensive course held at the Ghana Army School of Ammunition and Explosives (GASAE).
