Five arrested over robbery and murder of Gold Buyer in Agona Nkwanta

The Western Regional Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection with the armed robbery and murder of a 40-year-old gold buyer in the Agona Nkwanta area of Ghana’s Western Region.
He was subsequently taken ill and was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital for medical attention, but was pronounced dead on arrival,” the Police said.
According to a Police statement, preliminary investigations and CCTV footage identified 29-year-old Emmanuel Amponsah, also known as “Vandam,” as the alleged leader of the gang.
