Firefighters contain separate fires at North Kaneshie, Weija

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has contained two separate fire incidents at North Kaneshie and Weija in the Greater Accra Region, preventing the flames from spreading to nearby properties.

At Weija, an electrical fire damaged an ECG prepaid meter and electrical cables.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze before it could spread to a nearby compound house.
