Fake police officer, 63 others arrested in Accra swoop over suspected firearms trade

One of the suspects arrested The Ghana Police Service has arrested 64 suspects in an operation targeting suspected criminal activities at a lounge near Achimota Mile 7 in the Greater Accra Region.

The operation was conducted by the Office of the Special Operations Assistant to the Inspector-General of Police (SOA), in collaboration with the National SWAT team, following complaints from residents about alleged criminal activities in and around the lounge.“Further investigations led Police officers to Atico, where another suspect, identified as Michael Emmanuel Kingsley Mills, was arrested.”
