DVLA to require video evidence before roadworthiness certification
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is set to introduce a video monitoring system to strengthen oversight of vehicle inspections conducted by Private Vehicle Testing Stations (PVTS).
Chief Executive Officer of the DVLA, Julius Neequaye Kotey, announced the measure during the commissioning of the Authority’s Ultra Centre at the Tema Port on Friday, September 18, 2026.
