Ashaiman police arrest trotro driver and mate for charging illegal transport fares

Transport authorities and passenger advocacy groups are urging commuters to remain vigilant and report any driver charging unapproved rates to the nearest police station or transport union office to curb further exploitation.

The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has reiterated that no official fare increment has been authorised.
