Armwrestling: Golden Arms set for World Armwrestling Championship in New Delhi

Ghana's national armwrestling team, the Golden Arms, will represent the country at the World Armwrestling Championship scheduled for October 26 to November 7, 2026, in New Delhi, India, as the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) steps up preparations for another major international assignment.

Mabel Yeboah As part of preparations for the New Delhi championship, the Golden Arms will commence a national camping programme to bring together selected athletes for intensive preparation.

The Golden Arms will enter the competition with a team of nine pullers with growing confidence following Ghana's impressive showing at the 15th Africa Armwrestling Championship in Accra, where the country demonstrated its strength and depth in the sport.
